Where is brightness bar in windows 11 pro edition

Hi, I do not find the brightness slider bar in brightness settings in system.
Where it is located so that i could adjust the brightness in my windows 11.
Is the menu somewhere else or is a bug in this version.
please give me solution

The brightness slider would only be available for built-in displays like for a laptop or tablet.

For now, you can check using the tutorial below to see if it may help.

I have only the sound bar showing . Not the brightness bar.

To change the brightness of an external monitor, you will need to use the physical or on-screen menu brightness button on it in Option One, Option Eight, Option Nine, or Option Ten.

Dear Brink, your option 8 worked for me. I have intel graphics command centre in my search .I just clicked the al colour settings in the color tab.

The PS command won't work if your display's driver doesn't support WMI methods. Some don't.
For example, if I run inside a VM -- this command fails. On my real laptop, it works.

Desktop or laptop ? - I only get brightness bar on my laptops.

Before you can adjust the brightness you must have proper graphics drivers installed. In some old systems, Windows Update cannot find a graphics driver with the first attempt, so initially it installs Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. This is software-only with zero hardware acceleration, supports only standard resolutions (800x600, 1024x768x 1280x1024 etc) and doesn't support changing the screen brightness. This wouldn't be the problem if the default brightness level was 100%, but unfortunately for most laptops the default level is 50% and the screen is annoyingly dim. Update your graphics drivers, preferably from manufacturer (Intel, nVidia, AMD), not Windows Update, and you should be able to adjust the screen brightness. Another annoying bug I have seen is that some laptops (usually with an AMD card) have low brightness, even if you set brightness to maximum with the generic AMD graphics drivers from Windows Update. To fix that update to the latest official graphics drivers directly from AMD.

Hi @Brink I have the same issue and found where the user you were helping said Option Eight worked, but when I click the "Option Eight" link, I see nothing. Please can you help with this?
