Why does Private Network have a number after the name? Can you change it and where?

When I go to Control Panel>Network & Internet>View Network Status & Tasks there is a number (3) after the Network name. Do you know why and can this be changed and where? Thanks!

It's the "network profile" name that has the suffix added.
