Only a small issue here but is something that's not working the way it should. So I have the Bing Wallpaper app installed which I've had for a while, I have enabled in to refresh the wallpaper daily, but for some reason it won't do it. I have tried reinstalling the app on a few occasions and it may work once or twice and then stop. If I go into the app I can manually move the picture along to the current day but it won't do it automatically. Any ideas as to why it is doing this?

Delete everything in

%localappdata%\Microsoft\BingWallpaperApp

And reboot.

Also, make sure the Task Scheduler task for BingWallpaperApp is running. You can enable history in task scheduler and if it doesn’t update again, check the history to see if any errors show for that task

Also I look in Task Scheduler and I can't see anything where BingWallpaper is listed.

ok. i did some more testing on another pc. check this location:

%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.BingWallpaper_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\images\bing

if it doesnt open directly, the package name may be different, so browse to Packages and find yours, then the rest of the path.

A better app is Dynamic Theme on the MS Store. Totally free and it allows you to choose both Bing and Spotlight images in 4K resolution for desktop or lock screen daily update. It also will give you the option to save the images to the directory of your choice for future use if you like. I just save mine to downloads every day so I can quickly review them for keeping or deleting. You can also choose to display a text caption or not on the image. Really good little freebie.

OK great I managed to find this folder and delete everything. I'll see what happens and see if it updates the following day.

Thanks also for mentioning 'Dynamic Theme', I may well end up using this if Bing Wallpaper keeps giving me trouble.
