Widgets on the wake-up screen, how to get rid of them?

These widgets randomly started appearing (after 18 months of this machine not showing them). One of them is showing me a temperate in Fahrenheit despite my location being in Europe, another is offering me traffic info in a place I don't live (and never heard of), and another is giving me sports scores for a sport I've never watched.

It's like Microsoft decided to throw non-relevant random widgets at me, after a recent Windows update I expect.

Anyone know how to get rid of them?

I have the location settings disabled, I guess Microsoft Weather decided to try and guess, my ISP probably steered them wrong. As places go, Bonstetten looks nice. I'd quite like to be living there :star:

Good to know, thanks. I wouldn't mind setting a default location for Weather and traffic, but otherwise I'd rather leave location services turned off. I don't want it contradicting me if I have a VPN on to spoof my location elsewhere. :rolleyes:

Location for weather and traffic widgets dynamic cards on the lock screen are taken from location for weather and traffic on the widgets screen (at Customize widget after three dots menu).
