I've followed with fascination the ability to use an IPhone with the Phone link app. I noticed on the Win 11 release version it says "IPhone coming soon", but on the Windows Insider (DEV version) it shows an IPhone "selection" eluding to a working IPhone capability with the IPhone communicating with Windows via Bluetooth. On the surface it looks possibly "enabled", assuming it can access Bluetooth, although on the latest DEV version that box is sort of grayed out. I assume this is because it doesn't detect a BT "device". I have a Bluetooth dongle (4.0) on my host machine which I use all the time with speakers, headphones, etc., but so far I have been unable to get that BT cpability to show up on the Hyper V VM "Guest" in the device menu. Several of my other "devices" (printers etc) seem to map fine to the VM, but not the BT dongle.

Anyone else had any luck getting BT capability in a Win 11 Hyper V VM? If so, I'd love to know how it's done.

If you are using bluetooth for connecting to sound devices, you just connect via bluetooth on host and sound from vm is automatically passed though to your sound devices

You have to be using enhanced mode.

You cannot get sound in basic mode of course.

Because of this passthrough, you do not need bluetooth inside Hyper-V for sound. Pretty sure same applies to microphones.

I have no idea about overpriced iphone connection via bluetooth in Hyper-V but I suspect connecting other non sound related devices is not possible.

Maybe with a bluetooth dongle and usb passthrough setup and 3rd party software, maybe it is possible but cannot say e.g.
