Wasn't sure if this is better for the drivers forum. Seems more software related to me. i guess a driver could be related? i dunno...

I just want to know how to prevent the volume level-- particularly the System Volume level-- from changing. Ever.

1724161428243.pngThe rest is just bored rambling only vaguely related to my question. But what the heck: It's "In the Summertime!"

There's nothing worse (for me) than sending an email, or clicking some random button after jamming out to some sweet, sweet... Mungo Jerry... then in silence. That's a heart attack waiting to happen when the unwanted, unnecessary sound effect blares at Mungo Jerry level! That ain't no Summertime! No summertime at all!

That's not a fact. But, medical science does recognize something known as PTSD. That doesn't mean PTSD exists of course. But some group of Doctors decided there shall now be a disorder known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. So now there is PTSD.

Isn't it crazy how powerful is the brainwashing? If you don't recognize it now, isolate yourself as much as you can from popular media. It's not something most people can do. I'm 51, have no kids. I pretty much am like being retired. It's really weird.

See uninstalling audio driver from Device Manager and rebooting your computer to reinstalling will help.
