Hello everyone,

I have an issue with S3 Sleep mode. It had worked fine until some day. I cannot tell you what happened but now it is not working anymore.
Im on Windows 11 Pro, Version 22H2 Build 22623.963.

What is the issue:
If I set the PC to sleep (via Start menu), my displays will go into sleep but the fans keep running. It is then also not possible to wake the system up, neither with mouse, keyboard or with power button. I need to hard witch it off to get it working again.

What did I tried so far:
  • "Upgrading" Windows via MediaCreation Tool - did not change it
  • "Reinstalling" NVIDIA driver - did not change it
  • "Uninstalling" AMD Chipset driver - did not change it
  • deactivating hibernation - did not change it
  • Power troubleshooter run within Windows - did not change it
  • restore default power plans - did not change it
A full fresh Windows 11 install did help - then it worked fine again, even with those same drivers installed. But I'm now back on an older backup before the fresh install as it would take very much time to get the fresh install back to the configuration I need.

Output of powercfg -a
Code:

What else can I do?

Puh - it is working now!

What did I do... uninstalling many software that I did not use anymore like WACOM drivers, PDF24, Foxit PDF, reinstalling AMD drivers, reinstalling my USB 2.5GBe Network adapter drivers, upgrading VMware Player from 16 -> 17, upgrading Synology Active Backup for Business...

I cannot tell you what from all above did solve it, but now it works again!

Sorry for that
