Sometimes when I am surfing the web the top part of Chrome turns black. Screenshot of how it looks like:
Windows Version: Windows 11 - 23H2/OS Build 22361.3085

Once I click the black part it goes back to normal. How can I fix this issue?

I have never and never will use Chrome myself, but I would suggest you might try resetting Chrome.

If that doesn't work uninstall Chrome, restart, then re-install Chrome.(If your not syncing Chrome to a google account, make sure you back up your bookmarks first. You will lose all passwords saved in Chrome as well and will have to re-enter them the first time you visit those sites)

The machine is pretty new. I don't think that would do anything. It's happening on 2 machines, mine and my brother's. Same specs too.

Hopefully someone who uses Chrome will step in. Sorry I couldn't help.

Check above link and may want to google for others. Seems to be a fairly common issue. May have to do with resolution.

My settings are already set to those. I actually think its the browser and not my monitor.

I made a screen capture of what I am seeing, I replicated it in Chrome and Edge, but it only seems to bug out on chrome. Edge is fine. Sometimes I would have a black box appear or a black bar at the top appear and even sometimes the whole browser turns black and reappear in a few seconds.

Chrome Version: 121.0.6167.140

EDIT:
Looks like it happens every time when I try to make a new twitter post.

Yeah, I had similar problem on Edge browser too. Sometimes the address bar and the webpage would turn black, depending where I moved the mouse. Had to close the browser and re-launch it, for the issue to clear. Happened numerous times then haven't seen the symptoms for a while, so maybe it is fixed on latest Edge.
