Hello Windows Insiders, today we are releasing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27813 to the Canary Channel.

We are also not planning to release SDKs for 27xxx series builds for the time being.

Changes and Improvements​

[General]​

  • This update includes a small set of general improvements and fixes that improve the overall experience for Insiders running this build on their PCs.

[Other]​

  • We are removing the Location History feature, an API used by Cortana to access 24 hours of device history when location was enabled. With the removal of the Location History feature, location data will no longer be saved locally, and the corresponding settings are also being removed from Settings > Privacy & security > Location page.

I was hoping SAB would get an update and start working again. I'm going to give this build a try for a day or two before I decide if I want to go back to build 27788 or not.

Tried a clean install of 27813 and I got the same problem of previous 2 Canary Builds, it does not recognize Shift + F10 to open command prompt.
Same workaround as before, had to power off and back on to get it to work. 😵‍💫😝🤷‍♂️

This popped out yesterday on a machine with Build 27813.1000. Never seen that message before.
Any idea about what this driver is all about? I think it started after trying to install the latest BIOS on a DELL XPS 8940 with Canary Build 27813.
The other 2 builds 26120.3380 and 26100.3476 that run on the same machine did not show this message, and the BIOS updated without problem.
Found this Dell article, but it is not clear why this is a problem only with Canary Build. 😎🤷‍♂️
I think that the driver gets installed by mistake on Canary Build, because it is not installed in any other 24H2 builds, either insider or public.
If that is a known bad driver, why does it get installed on Canary?
