Windows 11 is five years old today

I have had no real problems with Windows 11 other than spending most of my time on it trying to remove most of the bloated apps that come with it and nobody uses. If someone out there were to use Windows 11 out of the box with no changes whatsoever, there would be no need for backup software, no need for cleaning apps, no need for Third Party Browsers, no need for programs such as Revo Uninstaller. If some problem developed a clean install would fix everything. The Store would have all of the apps that you would ever need or want. There would be no need for Help forums, YouTube would not need Windows Videos to make Windows easier to use. There is only one problem with the above--We do not live on Fantasy Island.

I do that as well, didn't save me from having a year from hell when using 25H2 on my desktop PC. :devilish:
I always try to be kind in my opinions of Win10/11 home/Pro and i try to be as objective as i can.. even it is hard..
But i have not said anything really negative about win10/11 LTSC. and i think even @TraderGary is a tiny bit surprised i have been kind to LTSC. :-)

i have been kind to LTSC. :-)

That's what everybody should be using. Reduced memory footprint, proven in Enterprise, nothing really to strip out, no adware, no bullsh*tware or any additional crap to worry about and delete, etc... etc...

But MS won't do that. They won't do the right thing unless there's a lot kicking & screaming out there. And even then, it's doubtful they'll move on it. :nope:

So whenever MS comes up with any new PR schemes about "memory" (like they've been doing recently), I'd take those with a grain of salt. They already have a way of doing it. They just won't do that.

Yeah, that was what i more or less wrote in post #15 :-)
What i want to see going forward is that they dump Home/Pro down a deep hole and then let everyone use the stable and non-bloated Enterprise LTSC version.
That is the future of windows.
and as MS not letting non-business consumers buy a valid LTSC licence, i will never out anyone helping others how to install and activate LTSC installs for free.
So as MS is stopping us from legally buy a licence and doing the right thing.... then MS is kind of approving of people breaking the rules.
If MS wants everyone to use a legal copy, then they also should sell legal copy's to everyone.

But i will still apply to this forums rule nr.4 and not talk in "open threads" how to install LTSC and activate it for free.
Even if MS is an *ss*ole there is no reason for the forum owners to get crap from MS for it. This forum is not the bad guy.. MS is.
