Ever since i upgraded my machine to 23H2 I've noticed some apps have a weird notification issue
it doesnt display the correct name and displays notifyicongeneratedaumid_ then some string instead of the app name for example Nvidia Container or Parsec
my previous install was 2 years old but upgraded regularly so i thought something must have got messed up at some point so i just did a fresh install and installed the nvidia drivers only and it looked fine then i ran all the available updates and nothing else the the problem returned
so it seems one of the cumulative patches caused it
did a search and came across something similar mentioned in an insider blog but its meant to be "fixed"
