Anyone happen to know why a Defender Full Scan never fully finishes on my Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Desktop? 22631.2506?

P.S. Do Run MS Office 365 Microsoft Defender for Individuals if that matters any?

Malwarebytes Premium 4.6.6.294
And WIndows 11 Fully up to date

It may just be a glitch because 23H2 is new. Give it a few weeks.
If you need to run scans... just run contextual scans.
Like... right click something and tell it to scan.

I'm not sure why felt should add that info just in case

I still feel safer running a full scan weekly, maybe i'm just old school--knows i probably don't need to even run a full scan weekly or even monthly. Did run a full Malwarebytes scan yesterday before updated my system images, and that finished, and no threats found.

Well, I just ran a full scan, and it finished without issue. And I was surfing the web while the scan was running. Took 29 minutes....

Disable the MB Premium and other security extensions you may have installed to see if difference. And insure MB Premium is current.

Finally Finished!
With some web browsing while was in the process, this time didn't get stuck at 15,000 or so files
Malwarebytes Premium was still active during this scan

Usually if i go afk from the system, it ends up stuck between 15000-17000 files, this time browsed while was scanning and it finished!

For the record, I only have Defender installed on my machine, so can't comment on how it does with other AVs installed.

I am in a similar boat. I simply can't perform ANY scans on Defender as part way through it hangs and never progresses. I tried waiting but 6 hours later the progress bar hadn't budged and it was only partway through a quick scan. No matter what scan I attempt, Defender NEVER finishes it. This is probably leaving my system vulnerable.
