windows 7 icon pack gone and unusable after update

so ive had my pc stylized after windows 7/vista for a while now and ive updated my windows recently and for whatever reason the icons are back to default. i used 2013windows8.1's iconpack installer before because it was the most recommended and also easiest way to change them however since i updated windows its just refusing to do anything, saying "unpacking" on open and then just closing.

are there any other ways to change all of the icons? or even fix the ipack installer? or do i just kinda have to stick to defaults until i figure out some other way

I have a folder of Icons in my Pictures folder. I have accumulated them over the years, most were icon packs from the web. Many of them are quite wild. All of my icons were personalized in 2021 when I went to 11 and they have remained changed. Nothing has been affected by a windows update.
