I know this has been discussed countless times, but I am still struggling to find a working solution or workaround for my specific use case.

Situation: on 4k monitors where scaling is set to higher than 100%, Extra Large thumbnail size looks exactly the same size as Large, except it has a lot of wasted space between the thumbnail. The largest resolution is 256 x 256, which with a scaling of 200% looks very tiny.

Workarounds: there are many other programs that have bigger thumbnails, such as XYplorer, Directory Opus, and a few others. But I generally don't dislike File Explorer, and especially like the ability to pin folders to Quick Links which I use extensively and no other program seems to do that.

Problem: I am working through a hiking website where I want to upload a 2-3 photos for each hike, from a directory of photos I have taken on that hike. The problem is that with the thumbnails being so microscopic, it is hard to select which 2-3 photos I choose. Then I need to have a second window open with another file explorer, and even so it is very difficult to match the photo up to the thumbnail (which is literally the size of my thumb nail on my monitor).
