Windows Font Issues with XMP enabled

After some troubleshooting, I think I’ve finally figured out what might be causing the poor font rendering on my system.

I was experiencing issues where the Windows fonts would often look thin, blurry, and jagged. Sometimes, the fonts or icons even had a slight jitter that made them look unstable.

I’m still learning about this stuff, so bear with me! I now suspect that my RAM might be unstable, which is odd because everything worked fine until my 13900K died.

I thought upgrading to a new CPU (14900K) would solve the issue, but it didn’t. This left me wondering if the problem could be with the motherboard, RAM, or PSU.

However, after turning off XMP, I noticed that the blurry and jagged text improved significantly, and my mouse movement feels a bit more responsive.

My RAM hasn’t shown any errors in OCCT or MemTest, but I haven’t had the time to run a full 24-hour test to be completely sure.

Should I be trying to adjust my RAM timings, or should I be trying to test a new RAM kit?

Yea, I definitely should have added more info.

Tried new monitors, display port cables, graphic drivers, cleartype, and Nvidia control panel settings.

So it is either my RAM, Motherboard, or GPU I am guessing.

I haven’t really seen such improvement until turning off XMP.

I am even getting higher Cinebench scores with XMP disabled.
