What is the relationship between this and UnigetUI?

My understanding is that UnigetUI uses Winget and some other software pieces to provide a more comprehensive Windows app updater/deleter. So does this mean that I need to separately install Winget updates to keep UnigetUI up to date?

Uniget is Winget with a GUI and it allows to add other sources.
Winget and Uniget are totally independent but Uniget can make use of winget if selected in the settings.

So does this mean that I need to separately install Winget updates to keep UnigetUI up to date?
As mentioned, they are independent from one another.
The App Installer (winget,) is maintained and updated thru the store Uniget can be set to auto update or can be updated here;

Thanks, but that does not actually answer the question I asked. Uniget's settings say "Update Uniget automatically", but this implies only the Uniget code is updated, not Winget. So I am assuming (which is something I don't like to do) that it is my responsibility to update WInget myself.

So I'll try that and see if Uniget still works OK.

Well, it seems to have worked. On my system it shows 2 items needing updates, which I guess is correct because I keep things as up to date as I can. But Installed Packages shows all sort of duplicates for this like C++ Runtime and UI.Xaml.x.x packages. So I'm wondering if things are being double reported.

I think Winget is updated automatically via the store as I never updated winget yet the file is dated 2 months ago.

@OAT, I meant how was @pietcorus2 able to see it was installed twice. I don't even manually update winget unless Windows Beta Insiders also comes with newer versions.
