Hi folks
Ms's documentation is dodgy as usual but the phone app works fine on Samsung Android phones -- I haven't got an iPhone so can't test on that -- and the mirroring of the phone screen works too -- I'm using Canary latest build of W11. The QR code set up is confusing --just seems to go into a "double loop" - but finally works fine once you've got the activation code -- you get another prompt which is really confusing --just exit as it's all set up.

Documentation seems to be incredibly poor these days !!!! -- note also the instant wifi internet point from phone also works perfectly. So +10 for the app, and -10 for setup and documentation.

I have to agree with, "....Documentation seems to be incredibly poor these days !!!! ...", I've ran into that also.

Since you also use Linux I'm surprised you didn't use or try KDE Connect

Works of course but I'm testing on a Windows to Go external USB since sometimes I "have to use" Windows !!!!!

Incidentally using the VLC app on the phone to browse remote devices / computer it's easy to play multi-media content on the PC - saves messing about trying to "un-hose" windows networking " or set up multi-media server on the PC when all you want to do is play remote media !!!!. Networking via phone always works !!!! With Windows it's about as reliable as Gandalf the Wizard in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.

TV streaming also works better via the phone app too !!! e,g I can use kodi from the phone instead of the dogs dinner of a mess trying to set up that lot via Windows !!!!.

using the phone's VLC app on Windows and playing music for example through the PC speakers

simply select one of the computers shown, browse to the media file(s) and play !!!

For streaming etc -- e.g SKY GO
