Sandbox will open like normal but be a gray screen with a black box in the middle then close and that error comes up with no code number with it, I've tried reinstalling it through features but didn't help. I'll get this errors in event viewer like this 'd684211d-0cbf-4eb1-a916-53d36b64c3ad': Virtual machine requested unsupported Virtual PCI protocol version 0x10006 on 'Channel {968ED778-9251-4A18-8432-CA442FCB5163} [VTL0]'. Error: 'Indicates two revision levels are incompatible. ' (0x8007051A). (Virtual machine ID D684211D-0CBF-4EB1-A916-53D36B64C3AD).

I'm on build 26200.8246, Copilot says the issue is I'm on a insider preview build and when it goes stable it'll work since its causing me to be on different versions but I've been on a preview build for a while and I have used sandbox on this before so I'm not sure if that the issue unless a recent update caused it. Any way to fix this or is copilot probably right and I just need to wait for a stable release?

Just had this issue after using Sandbox for years. My fix, as found in an Arabic YouTube video, is to use gpedit.msc and change the Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Sandbox -> Allow vGPU sharing for Windows Sandbox from 'Not Configured' to 'Disabled.' Hope this helps others.

It's quite a massive security concern ..
WSL appears to interfere with Sandbox in more than just one way.
Maybe like DAO said, it's just the GPU sharing. But Sandbox without GPU is quite a laggy experience.
