Surely Ms this year should be awarded the greatest prize for the largest rise in the "Bonkosity Index" ever (Guiness book of world records might be interested !!) with all their messing around with the insider versions.
Often now these days for inexplicable reasons WU fails -- but using an ISO from the Ms site (you don't even need UUPDUMP if you can grab the latest version) and just update keeping "Files/data intact" i.e don't clean install but run setup.exe from within Windows it just works.
