WinMerge is listed on my PC as normal software (32.1 Mb), as well as a store app (25 kb)
The same is true for other software (e.g. Tree Size Free, PrivaZer, Folder Marker and more). The store app (part) is always much smaller than the normal installation.

Store allows to install regular apps as well, so it might be merely a shortcut.
For example TreeSize Free is a regular Win32 app, not UWP/store app.

Yes, thank you. It must be shortcuts. I removed the supposed store apps from the UWP/store apps list and the regular Win 32 apps still run fine without problem. However after running the Win32 apps, the shortcuts in the UWP apps list were immediately back.
Thanks again, I don not care anymore about this phenomena.
