Solved Wireless USB dongle temporarily disconnects when connecting flash drive to USB 3.0 port

I use a wireless USB dongle to connect to the internet which is connected at one of the rear USB 2.0 ports using a USB extension cable so I can place it somewhere higher to get a better signal. I also have a USB 3.0 PCIe 1x card in my PC (2nd system specs) since the motherboard doesn't have USB 3.0 ports. When I connect a USB flash drive or USB hard disk to the USB 3.0, the Wi-Fi freezes temporarily and then the dongle is not detected by Windows and I disconnect from the internet. After several seconds the wireless USB dongle is detected again and I am back online. It might lose connection again if I click the icon for safe removal of the USB flash drive. This happens since the upgrade to 24H2, I had no such issue in 23H2. This shouldn't happen because the USB 2.0 ports are on the motherboard and the USB 3.0 is on the PCIe card and so in theory independent. I have already tried to reinstall my USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 drivers and to uncheck the box "Allow to turn off this device" for all USB devices in Device Manager. Any ideas what's causing it and how to fix this weird issue?

Not sure but could it be related to MSI mode:

I finally replaced my wireless Edup IEEE 802.11n USB dongle (Ralink MT7601U chipset) with a TP-Link Archer T3U AC1300 IEEE 802.11ac wireless USB 3.0 dongle and now I have 200Mbps+ speed, almost ten times the previous speed! I hope this doesn't disconnect when I use my USB 3.0 ports.

EDIT: As expected this is of much better quality than the Edup and doesn't disconnect when using the USB 3.0. Problem solved!

Reason it might disconnect when you use the 3.0 slots is wireless interference. Still, the extra cable should have helped.
3.0+ slots radiate wireless E interference, they can really mess things up in the area incl disconnects & slow speeds.

Let it be known that this goes for wireless mouse receivers, too. Interference at the usb port can have you chasing your tail trying to run down all kinds of weird mouse issues.
