I thought "what the hell - I will try this, then I have paid versions of all 3 main players, Macrium Reflect, Aoemi Backupper, Easeus Todo (I refuse to pay a lease for Acronis on principle). I was a bit dubious as I am in UK, and I half expected link to complain. It had pay by paypal option, and so I used that, and cost was converted to £16.07.

I got email, and then clicked on redeem purchase (warns you cannot get money back if you redeem), so as very cheap, went for it, and on hitting redeem, up pops a screen with key as below (blacked out obviously) . I copied key to clipboard (and saved on onedrive)

I was a bit unsure at his point, but I then downloaded trial Pro version from AOEMI website, and clicked on hamburger menu, selected register and pasted it in, and it activated.

I have no idea how kosher this deal is but it worked ok for me.

I have no idea why I really bought this other than paranoia:lmao:.

So now to test it.

@cereberus Being in the UK, I can understand some of the 'worry' about this, but StackSocial is very popular and has been around for years in the US... I buy software through them often (mainly Mac-based software though), they also have the same Office 2021 Professional (Windows)/Home and Office (Mac) deal for $49 US that is similar to the others mentioned on this site...

I also have a license with the same three you mention (and used to have Acronis, SS had a deal, but my 1 year expired and I refuse to pay their fees too).
