Windows 11 Home Version 24H2
Hi
Opening Yahoo Mail closes my web browser.

I log in to a new site, using my Windows 11 Edge browser Version (24H2) OS Build 26100.6899 and the site sends a code to my email to verify my identity. When I try to return to the web browser to enter the code, the browser has closed.
If I go back to the new site, it thinks it’s a new enquiry and gives me another code, so I’m stuck in an endless loop, never able to enter the code.

I don't have this problem. Maybe one of your Edge extensions is causing it. I do know you can't use the back button and expect the verification window to remain open.
Do you not use tabs in Edge? That works fine for me in such cases. Or you can always use a second browser to open Yahoo, phone verification rather than email verification, or get email verification on another device.

Use separate Tabs, or separate instances of Edge. Another alternative is use an Email Client App.

Thank you for your input. I believe I’ve just solved my problem. I went to Settings on my Browser and reset Settings. Why that should have worked, I’ve no idea, but it did, and Edge now stays open when I open Yahoo Mail.
