  1. WATCH OUT FOR RAM PRICES!

Comedians don't have to be ha ha funny to make their points. Sometimes they make you think instead of laugh.
  2. WATCH OUT FOR RAM PRICES!

Ronny Chieng is a comedian on The Daily Show, where sarcasm and political commentary on the current state of the world abounds.
  3. WATCH OUT FOR RAM PRICES!

Probably. For now I just put a -AI at the end of any search I do in google. They will (probably) deprecate that at some point, but works for now.
  4. New Version of ExplorerPatcher

I updated to 25H2 26200.8655 yesterday and have ExplorerPatcher 26100.8457.70.1 (latest official release) and it seems to be working fine. What problem do you see?
  5. WATCH OUT FOR RAM PRICES!

So much for Google "Don't be Evil" ... Nobody needs AI to search the Internet, court says in ruling against Google
  6. WATCH OUT FOR RAM PRICES!

Oh pleeze. Micron is a corporation, beholden to their shareholders. Not a non profit organization. They go where the market and profit is. Capitalism 101. Same with Intel, AMD, Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and the rest of them. Google began with a "Don't be evil" bylaw. Abandoned in 2018, as being...

  8. Overwhelmed - Macrium Reflect

Well guess what software vendors finally realized that was not a viable business model. Getting revenue on an initial sale, and then getting no revenue for 20+ years or more of ongoing support is not sustainable. It works in the very beginning because they are selling into a virgin market, and...
  9. Overwhelmed - Macrium Reflect

I don't understand how people can actually believe that there is software that is actually 'free'. Somebody somewhere is paying the cost of software development, testing, distribution, marketing. Maybe not the users in the short time, until enough of a market base is built. It is the venture...

"the cost of one Big Mac or one Starbucks latte per month."
  11. Overwhelmed - Macrium Reflect

Current pricing is $99/yr for 4 license package, or $49/yr per single license. Even at the single license quantity that is lower than the cost of one Big Mac or one Starbucks latte per month.
  12. System backup - really easy - no extra software needed

Nothing is "free". Everything has a "cost", in time and/or money. Me, I choose to subscribe to MacriumX for my systems backups because the yearly cost is well worth the time savings to me. For $25/year/system, the cost is minuscule compared to what it would cost me if I lost a system disk image...
  13. WATCH OUT FOR RAM PRICES!

IDK. All the massive commitment of funds is based on future AI revenue materializing. That has not happened yet, most pure AI companies are not yet profitable. Somehow they are counting on corporate America sending them big bucks to buy their AI tools and services. But AI adoption only works if...

So, memory vendors now saying in earnings announcements we ain't building no new fabs for this (maybe specious maybe disappearing) memory demand. So 'live with it'. https://www.cnbc.com/2026/05/18/seagate-memory-chip-stocks-ai.html
  15. PCIe 8.0 Specification, Draft 0.5 Now Available: On Track for 256.0 GT/s Transfer Speeds by 2028

PCIE 6.0 spec was released in 2022, and hardware for it is just started becoming available in 2025. So PCIE 8.0 is still a work in progress, not done yet. Don't expect hardware for it until 2030 at the earliest.
