Thanks again. I might give it a try, but if FileTypesMan wasn't able to fix it then i'm doubtful Types could either. I might try to find a solution elsewhere since none of these options seem to be working.
Thanks for the reply. I ended up trying FileTypesMan (which functions similarly to Types) to try and re-assign the icon to .DLL files, but that didn't seem to work either. Still unsure of how to get it back.
Hi, was hoping to get some help with trying to de-associate Notepad++ with opening DLL's for some reason.
I tried using the .reg file in the table to try and remove the association, but that didn't work. What I ended up doing is creating some bogus file, then setting that as the program to open...
I think that I was ignoring them too, I usually have headphones plugged in, but when I'm quickly managing files from an SD card to transfer them, I usually don't put them on, so that probably explains why I only noticed it recently. :LOL:
Interesting. My card reader is pretty free and easy to access, and I always get a good grip on the card with my thumb & index on either the sides or the top and bottom, so I don't think that it could be the issue in my case. I'm glad you found an interesting solution to your problem, however!
