It sometimes happens when I'm playing a game. The computer will reboot by itself or become completely unresponsive and I reboot it myself. This time I got a bluescreen and the system rebooted, unfortunately, I didn't read the error code. I went through my logs and it looks like an error 6008 and...
So every time there's a Windows update available, my PC decides to wake up at night and waste electricity. I tweaked a few settings but it might have something to do with Update Orchestrator in task scheduler. Thoughts? It was super annoying last night, I had to get out of bed twice and turn the...
I reset and uninstalled the apps but nothing happened. I turned off my VPN and Anti-Virus too which was a waste of time. Whether it's google or Outlook, none of them can be added. I get the error in the screenshot below. Error code: 0x80004005
Windows 11 is on the latest updates.
Where I'm getting at is if I reset my PC with the option to remove everything will it not just remove everything from my C drive but also my other drives?
Well, I use 155hz on my main display and 60hz on my secondary display. It plays fine on my main display but not on my secondary one at all! I'm going to go through the settings in my secondary display and see if I can find an issue there. Putting it in full-screen just kills the smoothness 🤦♂️
I think I found the issue... it might be hardware acceleration in the Microsoft edge settings. I recently changed the setting back to enabled so it might just be that. I will give an update to that asap.
I had a problem with my PC crashing regularly until I uninstalled a bunch of programs. I fixed the issue by uninstalling a bunch of programs and changing a lot of settings some time ago. Funny enough, after installing MSI afterburner, HWiNFO, HWMONITOR, CPU-Z, Thaiphoon burner, and possibly some...
CPU is around 36 °C and it uses an average of 6%
It looks like I can watch it on my main 1440p monitor but I then can't watch anything in 4k quality. For whatever reason, I can't stream any 4k content in full-screen mode on any screen. I use a 4k hdr tv as a second monitor.
Already did that
I installed the Netflix app and it seems to work fine only if the video isn't in full-screen mode. I can adjust the window size so that it's almost full-screen though.
I can watch 1440p HDR content smoothly on Edge but the video becomes choppy once the resolution hits 2160p. My PC is definitely strong enough to stream 4k content. I'm on the latest version of Windows 11 and I believe I have the correct edge settings to watch 4k content.
