  2. Automatically login into Windows 11 Pro

@fhschmid - was that originally a MS account, or a local account? (By default, Win 11 insists on you using a MS account when you install it. I ask as you now mention a local account, suggesting you may have at least 2 user accounts on your PC. Hopefully you have the correct password for one...

  6. Solved Thunderbird 128 - viewing and changing password- new security?

It normally does update, thanks, but it seems the problem arose after an update, so updates aren't always helpful.
  7. Solved Thunderbird 128 - viewing and changing password- new security?

Hi, It used to be relatively easy to access saved passwords for my email accounts held on Thunderbird. But now there's this: and I have no idea what's required there. It is not, for example, the email address and password of the account selected. I have posted a question in the Mozilla...

  9. Clean win11 install - "a media driver your computer needs is missing"

On a more general track, try a search like this: - more text etc follows and check all of that's ok.
  10. Solved Open Shell question

Good- with Open Shell you have a lot of freedom - you can place folders with shortcuts to pretty much anything and create your own folders to files or other folders if you wish.
  11. Solved Open Shell question

Example with just one Store app shortcut: See 'Store Apps' under 'Programs' containing Print 3D. a. create new folder on Desktop. E.g. name it Store apps. b. drag all shortcuts from Apps as shown by Open shell to Store apps. c. Drag and drop Store apps onto Programs. However Any changes you...

And thank you for your reply. The WUMT scan will show you AVAILABLE updates. It will NOT show you updates which have already been applied. (Except it has a button/link to Update History). You are over-worrying. Control Panel: as you don't seem to know, you could have asked Google:

  15. Win 11 c drive is 77GB. Normal? or time to clean install?

Thank you very much for your polite, kind and gracious reply. What do YOU think is odd about what you've posted? It could have been helpful also to post the cushion map as I carefully did for you. Space is not simply taken up by folders under C: as you saw from my cushion map. Wiztree shows...
