Thanks. Let me ask a stupid question. The "new" outlook is contained within the latest updated version of Outlook and has nothing to do with "New" Outlook that uses MS Cloud ? Have I got that right ?
Ooooh. Now that's above my pay grade. Honestly there are so many different flavors of Office 2021 its hard to figure out what to do. My initial start up screen for Outlook used to say LTSC and I just noticed it was changed to Office 2021.
I don't have the USENEWOUTLOOK at all. Wonder if there's another way ? I just want to take a look and I;d like not to reinstall. What about repair option ?
I'm certain I'm using the classic version. I did see it at first, then did the updates, then it disappeared. I googled a solution involving reg edit and I do not have the preference key they (MS) mentions. Lot sof solutions for Office 365 but this is an LTSC stand alone version.
In Office LTSC 2021 Pro Plus I update the suite and lost the "Try New Outlook" slider in the top right of the Outlook screen. Any ideas about how to get it back ?
I used the beta version and installed this and am fairly satisfied. Even though I don't want it to load at startup it has a nasty habit of randomly putting a desktop shortcut icon on the desktop that won't go away. Anyone else ? I've tried all known ways to stop it and it won't behave.
I was using the beta version and installed the release version 3.3.14.0 . It seems to function like the beta except with one really annoying fault. I do not want to use a desktop icon for this whether I load it at startup or not.It insists on putting one on the desktop whether its run at start...
Thank You. It seems to work out well. I am using PC Manager because every time I use CCleaner I wind up losing some passwords even in Chrome and I couldn't figure out how to configure it to not touch them.
