I have completed uninstalled office 365 and cleared left behind files from appdata and program files and restarted before reinstalling Office 365 incl classic outlook.
Does anyone have any more ideas on how to proceed. I didn't go as far as deleting all left over registry entries related to...
After this long process, somewhat like Mark UK I have now had to give up on Dell because they insist that the thermal performance I am seeing now is as designed for this processor (as quoted below). And that may be borne out by the info on Intel website....Temperature for Intel Processors...
Just found thisL
Intel U processors - is this what I am seeing and why Dell is insiting nothing is wrong...
Just doing some searching for more info....

As previously posted, book has identified...
And this will presumably be the trajectory for all processors as the manufacturers are all under the same commercial pressures. My concern is that if I were to go for RMA and Dell were to accept it, I would have the disruption of being without a laptop for a period which I cannot do for longer...
I think this is what the intel engineer was saying about latest intel chips (circa 2003)....and I suppose if this was the case in 2003 it is probably still the case now....? Maybe intel chasing to 'catch up' with AMD...?
Thanks. I'm rasiing it up today. But for testing pruposes I am obviously lowering it to desk as it is 'designed' to be used. If I'm tryign to prove it's running too hot (and I'm still not sure) then I don't want to do anything to lower the test temps.
