Don't clear your recommended section then restart your pc. There is usually one or two icons that lose their image and it turns white. I just recently did a new install of Windows 11. Disable Real-time protection, then re-enable it and the icon doesn't usually update back from the red button...
Has the white icons on the Recommended section, when you restart or shutdown your PC been fixed in the latest Insider build? Also file explorer is kinda slow at opening folders with a lot of video files in them unless you press F11, then it opens right up.
