Has the white icons on the Recommended section, when you restart or shutdown your PC been fixed in the latest Insider build? Also file explorer is kinda slow at opening folders with a lot of video files in them unless you press F11, then it opens right up.

Another bug is the Windows security icon does not always update to red or green when it auto enables itself then you disable it again. So if it's red with the white x then it auto enables it doesn't turn green. Another bug is, sometimes when you empty the recycle bin with a lot of files in it, it doesn't update to show that it is empty and you have to refresh on your own. Last bug I noticed is that also every so often, when you immediately go to disable Real-time protection the slider won't slide to off and you have to close Windows security and open it back up to turn it off

Don't clear your recommended section then restart your pc. There is usually one or two icons that lose their image and it turns white. I just recently did a new install of Windows 11. Disable Real-time protection, then re-enable it and the icon doesn't usually update back from the red button with the white x inside. So you are positive none of this is happening to you? This is unbelievable, now I'll have to do another new install so soon. So no one is having these problems at all? I can't believe this. How did this happen to me, I didn't do anything but unlink from onedrive, that shouldn't cause all of these issues. That is definitely a bug if that is the case.

I don't see those. On 22621.755. Unlinked form Onedrive.

I believe your issues are not usual for the build.

@Konally, I checked for the two problems you are having, and my system does not exhibit either problem. I'm currently on OS build 22621.755. I'm running Windows 11 Pro and not Home. Another difference is that I use OneDrive. My Windows 365 subscription includes 1TB of cloud OneDrive and all my data is kept in my local OneDrive folder so that I maintain a real-time cloud mirror backup of my data. I don't use the default OneDrive "files on demand" option. I don't use any of the current popular apps to modify my Windows 11 Pro installation.

I was looking in the start menu and under M there is a Microsoft folder and it is showing all of my recently opened files and some installed apps. I don't know how I did that. Also in device manager there are two pc profiles under the computer tab. I always only remember seeing
ACPI x64-based PC, but it has the name of my motherboard manufacturer too. I will just do a new install, something is wrong

Well I did a new install and after I used the Defraggler Boot Time Defrag, 2 of the icons turn white at restart, so I guess this is a Windows 11 bug because Boot Time Defrag is supposed to help make start up a little faster by defragging boot files. Also the Windows Security bug I explained above is happening again. Brand new installation

. . . . so I guess this is a Windows 11 bug . . . .
As this build is in the Release Preview Channel, please file feedback in Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under 'Install & Update' --> 'Windows Installation'.
