They still haven't fixed the z-order problem that causes an open file explorer window to jump to the front of other windows.
This probably will never get fixed, same as the white flashbangs when opening a new tab in file explorer.
@hsehestedt
Thank you for the response.
This is the command that produces the error:
dism.exe /online /cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase
All other DISM commands execute properly (with no error).
I've been getting this error in the last two beta updates. I've tried a multitude of fixes, including the ones found here. Nothing has worked.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
Others have reported success using the same procedures outlined in this forum and elsewhere.
22631.2271 Beta.
Don't use the Downloads folder, so wouldn't be able to comment on that.
I created a downloads folder on my data drive, which all my browsers use as their default.
I can sort that folder any which way I want, and it stays that way unless I re-install Windows.
I have zero problems with it, or the previous build, save for the icons turning white.
Although this is temporarily fixed by the F5/Refresh method, I find that removing "Gallery" from the File Explorer is a more permanent fix.
Remarkably stable and smooth otherwise.
Does anyone have a problem running the command
dism.exe /online /cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase
on this release?
I get this error:
The operation cannot be performed because another transaction is depending on the fact that this property will not change.
