Same here on my PC, but not on the Laptop.
Black screen after Login. All icons on place, Windows shows activated. Everything works normal.
I set my Desktop background picture again and it remains for a few windows restarts.
Already four times happened. It occured two times on 22H2 and once...
In my settings the CBT is on, was never off since years and this never caused problems in the past
So I'm waiting with the newest version until CBT will be fixed

This is a bug in W11. Thousands of users have this - me too.

The simplest workaround is this:
After the Gui opened. press the left ALT key and the missing controls are there
Booting Windows from an external device is called Windows to Go.
But this is only possible with the Pro and upwards.

It depends on the computer brand and/or the bios maker
Some turns off the TPM during bios update. Windows Hello is then unable to gather the information.
In Settings - Accounts - Signin Options is a Setting "User must use Windows Hello..."
If this is enabled, and TPM off or (worse) cleared...
From one day to another I had the same effect. Nothing on the machine was changed before, no new software, no Windows updates, no changes somewhere in the configuration of windows or macrium.
The scheduled tasks were not started after windows loaded but remains on the login screen.
