  1. An Outgoing Email From My Desktop Starts Randomly

I am actually astounded that there are hundreds, thousands apps for anything, but only like 3-4 real email apps (updated!). https://www.softpedia.com/catList/32,1,3,0,1.html
  2. An Outgoing Email From My Desktop Starts Randomly

It looks that the app is sporadically updated. The dev has recently died, so it is is maintained by fans. https://www.softpedia.com/progChangelog/SeaMonkey-Changelog-27236.html I would rather use POP Peeper Free than this. It seems too buggy to be around.
  3. Solved eM Client

I use Outlook on Android, it is perfect, just like Windows version was. If only Windows devs could learn from Android division. I can not use Outlook on Windows, because 3rd party MSA login is banned for some reason, but it is OK for Windows, Edge, Onedrive.
  4. Solved eM Client

That is it, I have got rid of outdated Store version and installed a normal one. MS failed to deliver.
  5. Insider Windows 11 Insider Experimental (Future Platforms) build 29617.1000 - June 26

Interesting, never happened to me (disabled scripts?), those installed on 27th were installed on 27th.
  6. Insider Windows 11 Insider Experimental (Future Platforms) build 29617.1000 - June 26

It is more like 5 mins for me, still, MS has not picked the best time to release the upgrade. The outside temperature is 40C and my NVMe is at 72C, in idle. I am scared for my precious.
  7. Insider Windows 11 Insider Experimental (Future Platforms) build 29617.1000 - June 26

I panicked a little, OneDrive has created logs the size of the used space, 25GB. OneDrive keeps switching to Always Online after each upgrade, it is annoying.
  8. Solved Help With Conhost.exe

That "bug" is present on the latest Insider. It took me a few weeks and reinstalls to figure it out.
  9. Solved Help With Conhost.exe

https://www.elevenforum.com/t/change-default-terminal-application-in-windows-11.3410/#One Uninstalling Terminal will break CMD completely, it will always run minimized and hidden.
  10. Any way to create a Desktop shortcut to a subfolder?

    1. It is mandatory, unless some serious steps are taken 2. It is much more safer than using a local account
  11. Any way to create a Desktop shortcut to a subfolder?

MS created a mess, by default docs link to OneDrive and by default they are always online. Dragging a shortcut is probably the easiest way to do it without serious repercussions.
  12. Solved LastPass hit by new data breach - 4 steps you should take now

You could use a cipher for security or a random book, like bible, so you could access them anywhere. I keep core password locally, triple encrypted, backed up of course, but that does not make it easier. Bitwarden keeps logging out each month and I do not know the password to a password manager...
  13. Point-in-time restore for Windows 11 is now generally available

It is a few decades late (as always with MS), it probably works, but it is basically a new feature. I definitely would not trust it, just yet. P.S. If MS would combine it with OneDrive, that would be perfect. Internet/MSA is already "mandatory", so why not to take advantage of it?
  14. Cloudflare Collaborates with Leading Browsers to Develop Privacy-First Protocol For Global Internet

Well removing caches, removes cookieless cookies. https://lucb1e.com/randomprojects/cookielesscookies 99,99% users do not remove cache, thus Cloudflare defines, whether they are bots based on the history. Per Cloudflare blogs. I believe I read article about it on Cloudflare, but they do not keep...
  15. Cloudflare Collaborates with Leading Browsers to Develop Privacy-First Protocol For Global Internet

What a joke, I mean conundrum. Currently, Cloudflare defines, whether you are a bot based on your history (cache). So in order to improve your privacy, Cloudflare will track your browsing. That makes a perfect sense, in their books. In the meantime, my cache gets removed every time I close my...
