Restoring Documents folder in File Explorer

I found the Documents folder that is missing in File Explorer under C:Users>MyName>OneDrive>Documents. I then Right Clicked the folder and selected Properties>Location. I then selected Restore Default which then reverted to C:Users>MyName>documents, I then clicked OK which opens a window asking me if I want to move all the files to the new location. I then clicked YES but a new window opens telling me that there is a folder in the same location and can't be redirected.
My question is: can I delete the Document folder under C:Users>MyName>documents and restore the Documents folder under OneDrive. I do not use OneDrive.

Since you don't use OneDrive, you could turn off syncing below, and manually copy the files from the OneDrive > Documents folder location back to your MyName > Documents folder location.

You can, but any update can mess it up again. The best bet is to create a separate documents folder and pin it, I have created one called Docs and put it on another partition. It is slightly inconvenient, but you do not have to worry about OneDrive ever again.

I have learnt to move the files & sub-folders myself if there is any added complication such as this one.
If something unexpected happens during the move, such as any inability to access the target folder, Windows will lose all those files & sub-folders irrevocably .
It's not like moving things in File explorer and being told it can't be done. That doesn't destroy anything.

Well, is there?
And if you look in File explorer then right-click, Properties does either source or target folder have a Location tab?
The existence of a Location tab is an indicator that Windows regards a folder as a 'user folder'.

You can find a list of all your user folders in the Registry at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Not all of them have names that make immediate sense so you can ask about those.
