No particular webpage opens up, a different one most times. Is there a popup blocker that works well for edge?

Whenever I open a news item in Edge, A new random webpage opens up in another window. How do I stop this from happening?

When all my other computers (Windows 11) are not used for a while, they are activated once I move the mouse and show the desktop instantly (I bypassed the sign in options). On one of the computers, it requires me to click the Sign In button. I did the same to it as the other computers to bypass...

I installed Windows 11 Update on one of my old PCs. I thought it was ok because I allowed the install for computers not compatible with Win 11. But when I tried to do windows updates, it gave me an error message like you see below. Any suggestions?

I upgraded to Windows 11 and when I try and update it fails giving me an error 0800f0983. Any guesses as how I go about fixing it?

I see your point about the multiple Edge processes, now I need to see about the screen I get in my attachment when I try and open MS Edge. Thanks!

I recently upgraded from Windows 10. With Windows 11, I get a screen like below (see attached). I also get multiple occurrences of MS Edge when I check the task manager. I check the network and have reconnect and the same occurs once I have reconnected. Any ideas? Windows 11 Home, Version 25H2...
