    Just a thought, have you tried uninstalling programs which have been installed recently which may be conflicting? A roll back maybe or worst case a clean install. Have you tried a scan of your system SFC /Scannow followed by DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    Try Closing your Edge browser. Open the file path C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Collections Rename collectionsSQLite and collectionsSQLite-journal Open Edge browser and see if your collection has returned. This worked for me when I had a similar issue

    Looks like you have apps that are not loaded correctly or have been uninstalled and left in the system tray manager. Right click the taskbar and select taskbar settings, select "Other system tray icons" and start there by disabling potential culprits.

    Ed. The crazy thing is that there is nothing in device manager. No drivers are installed. It's it the firmware that provides the driver. Nothing anywhere on the system or in the registry.

    Thanks for the response How is this possible from a clean install and a new NVMe device which has never seen bitdefender. Does this mean microsoft add Bitdefender registry entries as standard? I did a registry scan for bitdefender as a check and nothing is found.
