2.5 billion Gmail accounts exposed as massive hack uncovered


Seems like scams, data breaches are the norm in todays society. Everyday unsuspecting folks fall victim to scams that bleed them out of life savings. Never had my data infiltrated nor fell victim to scams. I take online security very serious. I use tracker blockers, force clean urls, vpn etc. Paranoid, me. Paranoia is a good thing

my Google account has a very long password and 2FA (text & authenticator)
everything on my system is encrypted. all internet is via Mozilla VPN
all DNS is done DoT via my own DNS resolving/caching server using Cloudflare 1112/1002
IPv6 is disabled and Firefox is set for HTTPS everything/everywhere

in fact i am moving all and everything to Gmail and by the beginning of 2026 will close my Hotmail and Yahoo accounts
if they managed to get anything around that lot then please stop the world and let me get off.
