Solved 25H2 - What's the big deal?

I believe Oct 14th is the automatic, but the Enablement Package is much easier.

3 seconds and a reboot = 25H2

But... I collected all the good stuff and put it in here. And, I keep it updated.
so, I went to the 'good stuff' and saw a download button for :

For 64-bit Windows 11
windows11.0-kb5054156-x64_a0c1638cbcf4cf33dbe9a5bef69db374b4786974.msu (166 KB)

what to do after cliking it? follow prompts, etc? I should make a restore point first, yes? (machine is new and have nothing worth a backup)

Just put it on your desktop and double click it.
It takes about 3 seconds. Then reboot the computer.

All the 25H2 stuff is already in 24H2, it's just turned OFF.
The Enablement Package, just turns it ON.

MS did the same thing when they went from 22H2 to 23H2.

I couldn't see the differences between 23H2 and 24H2, the real difference in 25h2 and 24H2 is new Start menu.

Also, many people still cannot see the differences between Windows 11 and Windows 10. :-)

So my PC upgraded to 25H2 yesterday. I am damned if I can see any difference.

Am I missing something? Or are all the changes under the hood?
What MS have been doing on and off with Windows for a while is similar to the Intel Tick-tock model.

25H2 is mostly under-the-hood stuff like security updates, stability improvements, and some minor UX tweaks. You might notice slightly better battery management, faster Windows Hello, and improved File Explorer search over time but nothing flashy. It’s more about the system running smoother and being future-proof rather than a visual overhaul. If everything’s working fine, you don’t need to do anything—just enjoy the subtle improvements.

It just feels as you haven't upgraded. That you still run 24H2. Only in System Info or Windows version window there is evidence you run 25H2. It is a little disappointing. However, this is a minor version change unlocked with 25H2 Enablement package, that explains it. For us that customize the user interface anyway, we don't even notice any difference in the start menu or taskbar, as they are modified and any changes hidden.

PS: 25H2 might feel a little faster than 24H2, but not sure. It could be placebo, but I like it. So far no issues, knock on wood!
