I haven't been on in a while, so greetings to all, and I hope you all are well.
A few months back, I bought my mom a new computer: an HP Pro Tower 290 G9 Desktop PC with Windows 11 Pro. She also has an HP laptop that I must mention because it is also relevant to this problem.
Problem: Each time the computer boots up, the Windows Security icon on the right side of the taskbar is missing. This also happens on her HP laptop running Windows 11 Home.
I have tried many fixes found on the internet, but the problem keeps returning with no solution. The fixes are only temporary while the PCs are in sleep or awake. Once rebooted or powered up from a cold boot, the problem returns.
I have an HP All-In-One Desktop and a Dell laptop, both running Windows 11 (Windows 11 Home, that is), that don't have this problem.
