A MEDICAT USB stick

I find most of the bootable windows utility disks redundant. They feature utilities that I don’t need or already have.

I am speaking for myself of course! Others will find them of great use.

I have checked out Hirens Boot CD, Gandalf's boot cd, Sergei Strelec's boot cd and AnkhTech Win PE.

There is nothing there that is of interest to me.

One utility that I need is a bootable Online Scanner for virus and malware. But most scanners are not bootable and you can only do your scan when you log in to Windows and go online.

This is a personal choice. I prefer Yumi to Ventoy. I have both but Yumi sports a nicer interface.

I am going to check out SystemRescueCd for Windows and Active@Boot Disk today to see if they have what I want.

I need a tool to help me assess the condition of a laptop. Whenever I find a computer for sale at a yard sale or in a store, I can use a copy to quickly assess its working condition and its internals (drives, video, BIOS, etc) before making a purchase.

I've found what I wanted. It is Active@boot disk for me.

I know this will sound unbelievable to most of you. With old age comes forgetfulness.
I actually purchased this two months ago and forgot all about it. I found it last night in my Archive folder on my external disk.

It has all the tools I need. As I am on the lookout for a refurbished laptop, I can use it to assess the health status as well as health and performance attribute of the laptop on sale.

I am going to add it to my Yumi and Ventoy bootable USB drives.
