Adobe Acrobat Reader version 2024.002.21005 is very slow to start on Windows 11 Pro 24H2.

Any ideas how to resolve issue?

IF... you're just using it to "read" PDFs... then you might want to try SumatraPDF.
It's not at all bloated like Adobe Reader.


It's installation folder is 9.75 MB.
SumatraPDF can read... PDF, EPUB, MOBI, CHM, XPS, DjVu, CBZ and CBR.



Also, keep in mind that 24H2 is "new". It will take a bit for MS to work out all the bugs. :-)

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
I'm on Adobe Acrobat Reader (64-bit) 2024.002.20991, Windows 11 Home 23H2 current version, no mods.
It starts instantly.

Updated to 2024.002.21005
Also instant start.
