Windows 11
I have BitLocker set up with password input required before boot. After I installed the lasted Windows 11 updated on August 6, when I boot my PC I am taken to a screen to select the keyboard language. After I select the US, the next screen gives me options to uninstall the recent 11 updates or go to the Windows Advanced Settings menu. When I try to uninstall the update, I am prompted for my BitLocker key, and after I input the key the uninstall fails and I can either go to Advanced Settings or Shut Down. Note that Startup Repair is unable to repair.

I use Macrium Reflect to back up my system. I tried a restore point from about a week ago before the most recent Windows 11 updates were installed. Strangely, the restored version from a week ago had the same issues at boot. I had to go back about a month to restore a version of Windows 10 to get my system working again.

Any thoughts?

As a BitLocker user, the OP's issue does not sound indicative of BitLocker. BitLocker is not going to prevent items from being removed. I install and remove stuff all the time without ever needing to suspend BitLocker.

I'm also not aware you can (or even want to) enable BitLocker to invoke each time you log into a machine. That said, I'm wondering if the OP isn't simply talking about a Windows password, which has nothing to do with "BitLocker".
