I have BitLocker set up with password input required before boot. After I installed the lasted Windows 11 updated on August 6, when I boot my PC I am taken to a screen to select the keyboard language. After I select the US, the next screen gives me options to uninstall the recent 11 updates or go to the Windows Advanced Settings menu. When I try to uninstall the update, I am prompted for my BitLocker key, and after I input the key the uninstall fails and I can either go to Advanced Settings or Shut Down. Note that Startup Repair is unable to repair.
I use Macrium Reflect to back up my system. I tried a restore point from about a week ago before the most recent Windows 11 updates were installed. Strangely, the restored version from a week ago had the same issues at boot. I had to go back about a month to restore a version of Windows 10 to get my system working again.
Any thoughts?
