Have you tried to repair it by going through the applications feature? That might work. Either that or uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I didn't have a problem with my Edge, so I'm just taking a shot in the dark on what you might try first.

That's odd.
Happened to me once but not really an issue. I didn't find it but saw an icon in taskbar. I found it sitting on my extended monitor. I forgot if apps open with the last setting unless I change setting to duplicate.

Do a search for Edge in the start menu, right click on it, and select to pin it to the taskbar. See if that works.

Occasionally an app will get it's screen position corrupted and open as a window that's outside the screen display area. When this happened in W10 the easiest solution was to right-click on the taskbar and select 'Cascade windows' to reset the position of every open window.

Of course the W11 taskbar can't do that. One alternative fix would be to open another app such as Notepad, hover over its Maximise button, and select a snap location for it. You should then have a choice of all other running apps to snap alongside it. If Edge is shown in the list select it.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).

    My SYSTEM FIVE is a Dell Latitude 3190 2-in-1, Pentium Silver N5030, 4GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro, plus the Insider Beta, Dev, and Canary builds as a native boot .vhdx.
Another alternative when a window opens off screen is to do the following exactly:

  1. Open the application, and do not click the mouse anywhere after opening.

  2. Press [ALT] + [SPACE] on your keyboard, then press [M].

  3. Press any of the arrow keys on your keyboard to make the window appear on your desktop *somewhere*.

At this point you should have control with both the arrow keys *AND* you mouse to move it fully onto your desktop.

Edge gets a new update every week, and updates itself automatically. A new update was released today, installing the update was probaly what fixed it for you.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.
