Solved All browsers not finding www.facebook.com


I should add that all was normal until only a day or two ago using Ublock, Bitwarden and Bitdefender etc in all three browsers (Brave, Chrome, Edge). I do wonder if a bad update or corruption has happened as the target?

I think I have found a fix!!!!

I had noticed that a successful webpage access had the following format (for me in UK) www.facebook.com/en-gb whereas www.facebook.com just returned an error page as posted earlier.

The difference being I now got a facebook page which although not logged in it displayed a login prompt and following logging in I was requested via 2FA to trust my desktop as a device. The book marked URL now takes me to Facebook as in the past.

Thanks to all those that racked their brains over this. Hopefully this will work on the laptop exactly the same so I will mark as solved.
