An Edge ?

Can someone answer a question about Edge's visited links color. I can go to Ebay or Google search and visited links are identified by changing from blue to purple. However, on this forum and Amazon, I get no indication a link has been visited. Why is that? Using Firefox, both Elevenforum and Amazon's links change color once I visit them.

Default color for visited links is purple, this color scheme can be change by web developer.

Yes I understand that. But why does Firefox show visited links on this very website as purple but Edge does not? With Edge, I get no indication at all which makes browsing this site using Edge very difficult. I've reset it to default, deleted its cache, but nothing helps.

What i know is Edge does not define visited link color its job of website, maybe website not updated compatibility with Microsoft Edge browser.

The links color stay same white even with Firefox on this forum.

I'm on the Edge Canary build and the links change color.

@Winuser I'm running Version 96.0.1054.62 (Official build) Maybe that's the difference. I'm forced to use Firefox until Edge can show me my visited links. It's too confusing to deal with otherwise. It's bad enough on this forum, but shopping on Amazon is a nightmare as I end up looking at the same things over and over.

I never back page anymore, not for ages! I always wheel click items to open in background tabs.

btw, links not changing color here either, on Edge, lite or dark!
Could be the theme..., or the software John's using!

I vaguely remember having an option to tell my browser what color to make links and visited links. Usually blue for unvisited and purple for visited.

However, I don't recall having that option lately. I don't use Edge, so I can't say what it does, but Firefox gives blue and purple as a default.

Yes, FF even let me change the color of the links, both visited and unvisited. I can't do diddly squat with Edge settings. No default blue and purple either. Even old IE had colored links.
