I should have disabled updates when I recently got Office 2024. Didn't think about it. but this stupid stupid undismissable banner snuck in (local account and signed out of every MS app but that did not help). And the red dot makes it even more annoying. I actually get angry looking at it (mostly directed at myself for not disabling updates earlier). I'm not on a Plan. whats to upgrade?
Anyhow, I would like to revert the update, but the page on how-to revert says it does not apply to Office 2024 (and sounded a bit complicated). Maybe a restore point was made b4 update? I think I set some automatic restore point thing.
