I was just now recalling a cute line from a sitcom years ago. I can't even remember what show it was.

A teenage boy, who is overweight and has extremely long hair, returns home from a doctor visit and tells his parents "The doctor says I'd better lose about 25 pounds."

"No problem," says his father. "Just get a haircut."

No need to do that. I probably wouldn't recognize them anyway, because I didn't regularly watch Growing Pains. I must have seen that gag when I was visiting at someone else's house. The sitcoms I watched were the older ones like Leave It to Beaver, The Honeymooners, Dennis the Menace, and I Love Lucy. But thanks for identifying this one!
