Hi folks
Any good WYSIWYG editor for Mathematical equations, symbols (e.g Integrals, Matrices, curl, complex equations , polynomials, subscripts etc etc ) for Windows.

I've been using a good Linux (free) GUI front end based on LaTEX but I've got a company laptop for one of my gigs where I can't add a Linux VM.

Here's a short really basic simple example for what I want -- output can print to pdf / html etc.

Plenty of engineers etc must be using this type of stuff on Windows --- any suggestions --preferably Free software based on similar to LaTex.

Something more complex also :

Not sure if these will be of any interest but a couple of open source suggestions:

LyX - Cross Platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) and, from your task description, may be the easiest option to adapt to using as works with LaTEX.

If you are prepared to consider Markdown editors, then Zettlr may be a possibility. Again its a cross-platform application; and there is also a Windows Portable Version available at PortableApps - Zettlr Portable so full installation would not not be required to test on a Windows system.

Thanks

That's brilliant --it's what I use on Linux.

That's what's brilliant here on these forums --really good help from people --unlike the rubbish on reddit etc. Thanks also to @z3r010 for providing these Forums. !!!!

BTW the same .lyx document I create on Linux works on Windows. !!!! and being able to print or create a pdf file is the same too.

@LeLibran

Don't try and understand the last example --that was Phd stuff which even I won't remember from years ago -- Fortunately no Dementia yet !!!!!!.

Saved me a whole slew of trouble - now I can finish the gig and enjoy XMAS and the new year -- same to every body else using these Forums.

Cheers
