Hi I just wondered if there are any Radio Amateurs on the forum who have connected their transceivers to a Windows 11 PC and what programs they are running

Fldigi version 4.0.4 works. Also, the last time I tried WSJT-X, it worked as well. Only problem I've had is when a Prolific port update disabled the device with a "Device not compatible with Windows 11" message. However, restoring the previous driver brought it back. Another Prolific driver update waiting in the wings, but I usually let them install at their own pace.

Yes and no I haven't connected any Transceivers (FT897D & FT-757-GX) up to Win11 other than programming stuff for Handhelds, which all still works, I'm in a very restricted site, ground floor flat, so mainly restricted to UHF / VHF from home although have a disguised end fed washing line which I can get away with on low power.

I had the call M0CBM. I took my test when it was a 2 part City and Guilds Exam and a 12wpm Morse test. I have tried slow scan, auto logging programs (without much success) and satellite tracking most of all the DX Cluster. with my FT920 and FT736 a 5 el beam for 6M, a 2 el beam for 10-40m and a vertical for 2 to 70cm. All were used on Win7 and some on Win 10. Currently I am not active. My main interest was SSB dx ing and got DXCC 300.

Originally G1DVL, currently G0DRN not as active as I'd like to be, City & Guilds and a 12 WPM morse test with the Falmouth Coastguard. Mainly 6m, 10m, 20m, 2m, 4m and 70cm mainly SSB apart from 4m.

Use an oldish logging program without too many bells and whistles, Winlog32 which does work in Win11

FT290R, FT77, FT101 ZD and FT726 with 2m, 70cm and 6m I had to sell due to lack of space, as with a load of home brew stuff and antennas, still got the FT897D, FT757GX, Trio TR751, an Anytone 4m mobile and normal dual band hand helds for 2m 70cms, one for 4m which is dead around here and 2 for dual band DMR, not the cheap ones! not proper radio IMO though. Prolific drivers are fine here although the two handhelds that use them require different versions, seem to co-exist OK though in 11.

I remember Winlog and FT 757, a classic. There once was a place in Southampton, fairly near to me that made converters for all the old plugs to fit usb sockets. My original (B class call) was G7OYW.
